What is a TAZ ? |
|
TAZ is the acronym for Temporarily Autonomous Zone, meaning that the designated location will be governed by rules that are not necessarily the same as those of the country where it takes place.
It's generally a party, although it could also be a dinner, pool party, etc., on private property. A TAZ can range from a small house party to a rave, as long as it adheres to this simple premise: it's a temporary autonomous zone. |

How is it organized? |
|
The Clubhouse where it's held sets a date, time, maximum capacity, and theme or characteristics. For example, they could suggest that everyone wear white, or announce that it's an alcohol-free party, or a wine tasting.
The Mundinix communication system informs all members that the event is available so they can register.

How the TAZ worked in Europe ? |
|
In Europe, the TAZ is a neutral place where a FREE PARTY goes on, this is due the restrictions to the Ravers movement, some TAZ parties attract thousands of people, mainly in the country. The Temporary Autonomous Zone, is a book by writer and poet Hakim Bey published in 1991. It is composed of three sections, Chaos, The Broadsheets of Ontological Anarchism, Communiques of the Association for Ontological Anarchy, and The Temporary Autonomous Zone. |
